Gobernadora (Larrea tridentata) has stood rooted in the Chihuahuan Desert for millennia, her resinous leaves holding the chemistry of survival. Rich in nordihydroguaiaretic acid (NDGA), one of nature's most potent anti-inflammatory compounds, creosote has long been called upon by Indigenous healers across the borderlands of Mexico and the American Southwest to ease aching bodies, quiet swollen joints, and restore the body to stillness.

We pair her with magnesium chloride flakes — one of the earth's most bioavailable minerals — and wild lavender, to create a soak that works at the level of tissue, nerve, and spirit.

What it does:

How to use:
